Client Testimonials

Best authentic soul food in Seattle. The oxtail is so tender and flavorful. really big portions. Good bang for your bucks. Shrimp and grits was my second favorite. Definitely coming back to try the catfish next time

I ordered a "Bull Dawg Burger" today and when I tell you it was huge and had great flavor. I ALWAYS enjoy my food here and have tried multiple meals. The catfish is great as well as the blackened salmon salad. I have never been disappointed. The artwork in the restaurant is also amazing.

Best burger ever! Big juicy delicious patty, perfect cooked bacon, grilled onions, and perfect shoestring fries, not too crunchy, not too soft. Just another awesome dinner burger here. I've had the PO boys, the shrimp and many sides here before. Thinking of those sides make me hungry again.

We stopped by here as we just moved into the neighborhood and this place is gem! Everything was well seasoned from the fries to the fish and even ribs. I would have taken a picture but once I took the first bite it was too late. I couldn't stop eating one thing after another. This will definitely be a go to spot for us

I had the distinct pleasure of picking up Thanksgiving dinner or a friend in Seattle at Soulful Dishes. Most noteworthy is that they are offering Thanksgiving dinners at no charge to anybody who walks in the door. I was overwhelmed with their kindness and generosity of spirit. Truly a Happy Thanksgiving blessing.

the food was delicious the man that served my family and I was very nice and quick to give us our order (which was quite big). I went at the beginning pf 2023 and I still crave and think about this food every single day without fail. I unfortunately have not gone back to Seattle since so I haven’t been able to visit. Whoever owns this place please know that this is the place where I had the best fried chicken.
